US later trained Iraqis to be used against Iran, later on had 2 wars with Iraq and Saddam.

Now they train some Iranians to fight their government, so what? In 15-20 years they will fight them too?! :o

Al Qaeda formed later in part out of the mujahadeen. None of which has relevance now anyway.

The mujahadeen were trained by the CIA. Who's to say that the guys we're training now won't turn against us in the future?
