Please help!!! Here is the email I've written. Please add your voice! Use mine or write your own, edit, amend, just please take action!

Dear concerned human persons,

I wrote the letter below only a few short weeks ago. I wept in relief when word came of the stay. I was so grateful to find that our requests for compassion and clemency were heard.

Then today I discover this:
Jafar Kiani was stoned in Aghche-kand, a small village near Takistan, Ghazvin, on Thursday July 5th. His partner, Mokarrameh Ebrahimi, is next.

And now I can't stop weeping at the horror of such a death. Brutally murdered for loving a woman and fathering 2 children. Two children who now must go forth in life...

This story IS FAKE!

Good gracious, tsarbomba! If you had read the source
Urgent Press Release: Jafar Kiani Stoned on July 5, Mokarrameh Ebrahimi in Imminent Danger
Jafar Kiani and his partner, Mokarrameh Ebrahimi, have been in prison for more than 11 years for an adulterous relationship and having two children. The couple’s children live in prison with their mother.

then you'd have discovered that Thorne's clip title is wrong.

Right. A day late and a life short, both of you. The title WAS correct. sadly, he's already been stoned to death... follow the links. She's still in prison, her sentence has been delayed but not commuted. You might want to check dates, too.

Thorne, I am stirred up, and I commiserate about this barbarism!
(NB: My criticism on the title of your clip regards the words "Her 11 year partner" which are unclear and capable of being misunderstood.)

Thank you for the clarification, Johanna. I see what you mean, but they were indeed "partners" for 11 years, it being illegal for them to marry even after her husband "divorced" her. It was this story that precipitated my hiatus from news and the internet. Personal tragedy has added to my reticence, but I'm trying to peek back in in small doses. Thank you for commenting.
