Watch out for those voices, Cat.
Basically, everyone is an atheist. It’s just that religious people are atheists about every other god except their own. So even a Christian is just one god away from me. I don’t believe in Zeus. I don’t believe in Poseidon. The Christian is also an atheist in regard to Zeus and Poseidon. The Christian has just selected one of those books of mythology, pulled it down off the shelf and said, “This one is real.” As an atheist, all I’ve done is to not do that.

a wise human wrote that quote, u put there K7..
Dawkins? Sagan?
on the other hand you may not believe this but in a conversation one of them "believers" actually told me that what they did is simply " select "... hence his claim that they perform evolution (aka natural selection) on the Gods..

My dear friends. (~: )

To you guys are dumber than mud ! You think you know some about some but to don’t know nothing about nothing.

Why would someone take a risk and blasphemy Holy spirit if they don’t have to take that risk. You think your selves independent thinkers but this is all been said before. You follow others like BRIAN FLEMMING in your religion of Atheism, you follow your preachers and your teachers of gospel of foolishness . Your mocking will fail and fall into a digital cavity but Word of God has stood for 7,000 years.
The Christian is not an atheist ! The Christian knows and recognizes the existence of other spiritual beings, gods. They are the anti – gods. There is onl...

Jesus says judge not lest you be judged yourself. Maybe, if you want to come off as one of his followers, you should try that.

Oh, and Pascal's Wager (what you are arguing) is severely flawed. Check this link for more info:

The issue is blasphemy and blasphemy is sending kids to hell ... it's not a judgment ... it's a statement of fact ... The Christian observes.. .

You are judging atheists by saying that they will go to hell. You are making the ultimate judgment, which according to Christianity is God's job and his job only. You are only making your own salvation more difficult.
12-23-2006 7:51 PM

is severely flawed
I don't exceped the views of religious philosophies. Sorry, nice try but your repsons is severely flawed.

I know my tone is hard but the recomendation of this clip is hurting many kids ... and my Jesus could be forcfull as well ...

Matthew 3:7 (New International Version)
But when he (Jesus) saw
many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to where he was baptizing,
he said to them: "You brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the
coming wrath?

... again Blasphemy sends people to hell ... FACT!

I've on time to be nice.

Please see some of my nice clips but for today this is WAR!

As for my salvation ... it's forever settled. I've met the biblical requirement ... please have you ...

John 3:16 (The Message Bible)
... by believing in him, anyone can have a whole and lasting life.

John 3:16 (The Message Bible)
16-18"This is how much God loved the world: He gave his Son, his one and only Son. And this is why: so that no one need be destroyed; by believing in him, anyone can have a whole and lasting life. God didn't go to all the trouble of sending his Son merely to point an accusing finger, telling the world how bad it was. He came to help, to put the world right again. Anyone who trusts in him is acquitted; anyone who refuses to trust him has long since been under the death sentence without knowing it. And why? Because of that person's failure to believe in the one-of-a-kind Son of God when introduced to him.

Dude, you were arguing Pascal's Wager yourself. You were the one who engaged in religious philosophy, not me. And no, there's no flaw in my response; you gave an argument, I provided a legit counterargument. There's no flaw whatsoever in that.

Second of all, you have no clue if it is hurting them or not. Some may just ignore it; others will take it seriously and still not be hurt. You can't judge whether it'll send them to hell or not because you are not capable of divine judgment. You can not state this as a fact because God can be forgiving (thus the reason why he judges before sending to hell).

As for war: "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone." Again, you've made things worse for yourself.

People ...

I wish this whole hell thing was not in the Bible, but it is. This clip is an "how to book" on how to Blasphemy the Holy spirit with full knowledge that it is the unpardonable sin. Sin send us to hell.
Again my friends no judgment there just fact. The biblical fact that this clip believes.
Go there and see a young girl follow the leader into Blasphemy. I truly hope the Bible is wrong about this, but I don't think so.

You have no measurable proof that blasphemy sends us to hell. Even if it's in the Bible, that does not work as proof. You'll probably claim that it's true because God wrote the Bible, but what proves God's existence? The Bible? That's circular logic.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Circular_logic

You have no proof for your argument, thus you can not prove there is any harm being done.

Cat ... I'll stop the spam if you STOP recommending "The Blasphemy Challenge"

I know what I'm doing. You, on the other hand, are judging us again and again, further distancing yourself from the beliefs of Jesus. If you want to convert someone to Christianity, you can start with yourself.
12-23-2006 8:52 PM
Injabulo
L,
"The Blasphemy Challenge" quoted the bible first and they are acting on it's words.
You say "judging" I say "statement of fact". I have not ascertained anything only observed the words of this clip and regurgitated them.
12-23-2006 8:58 PM
LGagnon
The clip says nothing about anyone going to hell. It merely says that they will not be forgiven. By whom they will not be forgiven is not said.

Thus, what you state is not fact, but your interpretation of the facts. To force this interpretation onto us is to judge by your interpretation.

Actually, I know a lot about religion. I've studied the philosophy behind it, have attended various faiths' services, and have even taken a class in The Bible as Literature in college. I probably know more about it than you do.

Doesn't the above mean you're going to Hell too, Injabulo? And whether
or not someone commits said blasphemy, they're damned anyway?

Don't go putting words im my mouth, I never said it was a good idea,
but nor did I say it was a bad one. Also, isn't it bad to take the
lord's name in vain? You basically just took almost every name I have
ever heard him called (and a few I hadn't) and used it without regard
for what you were saying. Oh, you can be forgiven for that though, I
guess. Just say a few "Hail Marys'", and "Our Fathers'".

If you want to argue that...

Hey Cat. The quote above was from the filmmaker, Brian Flemming, from the interview. Thanks for the clip and for stirring up trouble.
