Because it is corrupt, because it covered up sexual abuse by it's Priests, because it then moved those priests onto unsuspecting parishes.....because a lot of children were abused by people (mostly men) charged with caring for them....all in the name of 'god'.

there can never be enough focus on them--they have proven themselves unworthy of trust. I hope there is the closest scrutiny on this 'religion' from now on. Too many protected wackos and criminals within its borders.

The men that are guilty acted on their own will, not in the name of God. If they actually believe that abusing others is acting in the name of God, then it is not the Christian God but their own god.
