I do not believe the troops will allow the Teleprompter-In-Chief to throw him under the bus for the sake of political expediency. The very fact that Obama has spoken to him only once is prove positive that Obama is unfit and unqualified to be Commander-in-Chief of our Armed Forces. I hope that secret meeting that Gen. Stanley McChrystal, the top U.S. and NATO commander in Afghanistan had Friday at Ramstein Air Base, Germany, attended by U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Adm. Mike Mullen; Gen. David Petraeus, chief of U.S. Central Command, and Adm. James Stavridis, the supreme allied commande... Best wishes to your son. Even if the President is lukewarm in his support of the United States' military, our citizens are not. Sadly our policies have allowed Al-Qaeda to set up cells in the US instead of the deal-with-them-there policy which was the point of going into Afghanistan in the first place. I strongly support more troops there. The more that are there the more fire-power and protection they have. I will keep your family in my prayers. I have someone I love over there at the moment as well. I find this news of Obama's neglect of the military not surprising, but frankly, quite terrifying. |
