Obama administration to allow pollution of any kind anywhere. Right-wingers rejoice (as they wheeze and cough trying to get more oxygen).

Neither is excrement, until it finds its way back into your body externally.

Excessive dihydrogen oxide kills far more people every year than carbon dioxide, maybe it's time the government ban all those factories nationwide that produce it, in the name of public health of course...

Sounds good; why don't you bring it up at the next meeting.

In the mean time, cleaning up the atmosphere is a responsibility best passed off to the next generation, don't you think? I mean, come on. Who cares if they can't breath then, as long as we can breath now. Right? No. Wait. Evolutionary adaptation will render cleaning up our planet completely unnecessary! We'll simply... adapt!

Or, we can simply do the responsible thing, by developing clean forms of energy. It's time for progress.

After all, if they were to find out that dihydrogen oxide makes up well over 90% of the greenhouse gas in our atmosphere, and that it kills more people than any other greenhouse gas, I'm sure they would either severely regulate it or ban it altogether.

And don't get me wrong, I have no problem with cleaning up the atmosphere or using greener technologies as they become economically feasible. My only problem is declaring something pollution which obviously isn't pollution. I have a problem with the government being able to regulate every breath you take (well, every breath you let out anyway). I have a problem with div...

My idea of pollutants is that they shouldn't be there. None. I get fired up and send off letters when I see schools and child minding centres on main roads or at major intersections. The kids are being forced to breathe in pollutants.
