There's a lot of people who probably won't remember this, but back in December of '73, when the Watergate affair was coming to a head, The National Lampoon Radio Hour ran a special called The Missing White House Tapes. One of the segments was a 'call-in', in which the 'listeners' who called were asked, "What should we do to Richard Nixon?" Next caller, hello, what should...  but you'll need to translate "Berl 'im in earl!" for me.  @righthand, that's Brooklyn dialect for "Boil him in oil". (For comparison, Bugs Bunny's voice was, as described by Mel Blanc, a cross between Brooklyn and Bronx.) I was listening to the show with some friends, and we came up with ideas of our own.
