But our secular laws have developed from a common sense away from the religious laws of scripture. Their laws have not. They actually have a theocracy. And should they speak out against the superstitious bases of those laws, they too will be prosecuted -- for heresy or the like. They can never, therefore, progress. We scoff at them for being backwards, but we often say nothing about theocracy in our own government. We aren't that far away from the Dark Ages ourselves.
