the presence of a dog in the home lowered asthma riskBest place for kids is kindergarten where kids can swap bugs! Healthiest place is a farmyard kinda funny, not for the people who have asthma though,im glad i dont have it I have two children and one grandchild with asthma. I'm sure there are things that can contribute to it but I'm convinced that it's genetic. There were no antibiotics during their first years. I think there is a pattern about asthma though. If the disease is contracted at a very young age (2-5) there's a good chance that they will outgrow it. If it develops later (10-??), they will likely have to deal with it through out their lives. Concerning the farm life I would usually agree. But my first-born played Joseph in a Christmas play (he was 6) and within 4 minutes of being among the hay we rushed to the ER. As an adult, he has no problems anymore. |
