masbury says: Well, there you go, the former VP is indeed what you thought he was. you mean just because he thinks that somebody who endorsed The Messiah and turned on the Republicans actually prefers those who support Republicans? Wow, what a shocker. Trying to think here of any animals that tear themselves apart like the lost GOP are doing. Very difficult. Sharks, with the smell of blood? No, not each other. Paranas? No, not each other. XXX? No, not each other. Man? No, not only GOPs eat each other. NOT funny. They each other while teabagging each other! One of the most polarizing republican figures choosing Limbaugh over Powell says more about his distaste for Powell than his acceptance of Limbaugh. Limbaugh, never one to take criticism, would rather turn you into his enemy than learn from you. Then again, controversy is the ONLY thing Limbaugh is about. Colin Powell was a fine General, but he was an is not a conservative. The only reason he ever claimed the Republican ticket was because he felt they would better support the military. On all other counts, he is a liberal Democrat. ...and I thought that voting was secret in America!? This 'knowledge' must come from Americans 'ability' to stick tags on people. In Europe, we do not see people as being so one dimensional. Personally, I believe that Powell had far far too much integrity for that gang of cut-throats that comprise the Bushites. Those that do not agree probably need the definition of integrity spelt out to them - not that any miracle would happen. How do you like that? ColoradoRight thinks BHO is the Messiah! He's the only one I know. Which makes CWrong a blasphemer, if I have my theology right, hey Masbury? But then again, you must like beating up people, and drowning them in order to be a Republican these days, its the macho thing to do. Aw, he's only a pretend blasphemer. But it is intriguing how good-old GOP nationalism completely vetoes the teachings of Jesus, like "love your enemies." Colin Powell is most certainly a conservative. Barack Obama is a conservative! 80% of the sitting US government are conservatives, with another 15% or so centrists. It isn't Powell that left the Republican Party; it's the Republican Party that left Colin Powell. It went from quirky right-wing antiprogressives to dangerous right-wing extremists. It's time for it to die the sloppy, messy, demoralizing death it deserves. Time for the US to have a conservative party AND a liberal party for the first time in 150 years, instead of 2 conservative parties. |
