I once had a fencing class on the night reserved for trick-or-treat. I left a box outside my door with a sign reading, "Welcome, kiddies! Put some candy in the box, leave quietly, and nobody will get hurt!" When I came home, I had a fair amound of candy in the box - decent stuff, too. Apparently, some people got the spirit of the joke.
