When the Dow was riding high was it a sign of a 'healthy economy'?

If investing, buy land, precious metals, and dabble in utility stocks. God only made so much land and precious metals, people are spoiled, they will always need electric, natural gas, coal, crude oil, and more so in the future; wind.

Watch buying land and anything of value. As the reality of America starts to become apparent, it will not be long before the government realizes that if there are no jobs and no profits, there is also no tax revenue aside from the millions of hidden taxes we all pay every day.

They will come after your land and property with a vengeance. The exact way they do for businesses now.

My company is 50% down in sales from 5 years ago, our taxes are up nearly 30%. How is it possible that a non-profitable company can pay MORE in taxes on property that is worth much less and lower sales with no profits?

The private land owners will find out soon enough.

The same way that no millionaires are left behind Gemfem.

In Bush's first 1.3 trillion tax cut in 2001, the bill included a phased repeal on the estate tax, which affected only the richest 2 percent. By one estimate, Bush cabinet members stood to save between 5-19 million apiece from the "death tax" repeal. Of course they'd have to die first, so the plan had some merit.

But no taxes for the rich was the great goal and that was pushing for zero tax on dividends, capital gains, and corporate income. Bush's greedy rich folks tax ...

Debbie, Bush cut taxes on couples making $40,000 a year by $4000.

It wasn't just "on the rich". As you all will soon find out.

Me, I don't worry, we haven't seen a paycheck in 3 years and now our employees won't have to either.

Taxes do not create anything except bigger government. As we all will soon know firsthand.

And, the death tax is bullshit.

The estate has paid the taxes over the years as the wealth was created.

Paid and paid and paid.

Why should the government be entitled to another piece of it? How many times should the dollar be taxed?

Just like gift taxes, estate taxes are utter bs. The tax is paid at earning, again when the investment earns and if real property, taxes are paid and paid and paid and paid.

Class warfare will have one result, the wealthy will leave to less taxed countries-which have thrown open their doors, and we the underemployed will be forced to pay for all the plans.

Something our government does not understand, 100% of NOTHING is NOTHING.
