	  historical origins are not clear - some historians see India as the 
	  place of origin of this world-wide game, though others think that it 
	  originated from China. Chess has always been seen as a strategy and 
	  war game. The different pieces of chess symbolize the different types 
	  of weapons used in an army. Two armies engage combat. The white and
