Of course we know that the facts do indeed matter. If they did not, then the media, the left, and the ignorant herd would not try so hard to shout them down and ignore them. The question isn't "do the fact's matter?". The question is, do people care about the facts or care to hear the facts?

What difference does it makes who did what? The republicans are equally responsible (in fact more) for bringing big government, and they have to live with their legacy.

I guess the facts don't matter to Thomas Sowell, since the CRA had little to do with the subprime meltdown.[1]

Can't argue with that, except on the level of equality in blame. Clearly, there is enough blame to go around. However, we ( at least those of us willing to look objectively ) can look at the record since 2002 (and even before that) and see a clear picture of which side saw the impending crisis and which side chose not to see it. We can also see a clear picture of which side benefited from the mishandling of the entities which led to this mess and which side did not. We can also see which side has been calling...
