"Make no mistake about it—the ACLU will not stop with this lawsuit. They may come to your town and target your school." Yep, things sure are different these days. When I was in school (I'm 41), people of all religions were free to talk about their beliefs. It wasn't even an issue. I have a son in high school and he knows he has to be careful about prayer or even mentioning God or Jesus. It saddens me. I know of a very bright young man who gave his Christian testimony in his valedictory speech at a public high school. He got a standing ovation. Your son shouldn't worry about praying in school. As long as teachers are giving tests, there's going to be prayer in school, no matter what the ACLU says. Why are humans so smart yet so stupid! With our huge brains and vast universe there souldnt be time for these kind of things in life. |
