If you go to the site there are some photos of them making them, but they don't show much detail. My guess is that it would be similar to these

Langzeitbelichtung brennt die Form

Im Sucher der Kamera ist es dann schwarz. Mit Taschenlampen, LED-Leuchten, manchmal auch mit Fackeln malt nun einer von ihnen Spuren ins Dunkel, während der andere hinter der Kamera steht. Wer die beiden bei der Arbeit beobachtet, sieht immer nur einen Lichtpunkt - erst die Langzeitbelichtung brennt die Bewegung zur Form: Spiralen, Ovale, konzentrische Kreise, verschlungene Linien, gotische Bögen, filigrane Kugeln. "Wir experimentieren immer wieder mit neuen Formen und Lichtquellen", sagt Jens. Mal führen sie die "Lichtpinsel" per Hand, mal schleudern sie sie an einem Band durch die Luft. Solange die Lampen dabei frontal in die Kamera leuchte...
