I'm totally thinking about getting an IPod this Christmas. Not sure if I should get the nano or invest in the video ipod. Anyone have any ideas?

Doesn't it depend on your preferences? I mean, I've always thought the video aspect of today's media players were a bit excessive unless one's really bored or just has to watch something....

In other words, nano for the casual everyday listener, and video for the hardcore must-watch-while-on-the-subway individual...

Though I'm quite more inclined to the new Shffule...not too bad for price and sheer dinky-ness.

For me, the iPod is all about capacity. The bigger the better. The nano holds very little, while the video pod holds much more. There's very little difference in size, really.

I wouldn't be bothered with the video, myself, but I like the capacity of the larger ones.

Yeah space is a big factor for me too. I guess I'd rather have 80GB to play with. Not too excited about video other than a video podcast and a music video here and there.

Thank you for helping me out....I think I have my answer
