anonymology says: I thought this too: the very fact that the film is getting such bad press, can only be good for Opus Dei. More's the pity, really, although I'm certainly not Da Vinci/ Brown fan myself. i'm half way thru the book right now. i find it to be a great page turner. one of those books you can just get lost in. however, i can totally imagine seeing it played out in film and finding it absurd. the book kept me engrossed too....but Im in two minds whether to watch the movie or not all i know is, when i picture Langdon i sure don't see Tom Hanks. And i don't remember the name of the actress who is playing Sophie, but she is not at all what i picture either. for a little while a was into the show Alias. The book kind of reminds me of that show. |
