Michael Izzo, 30, and Richard Capece, 31, were allegedly caught on tape splashing petrol over the garage door of the Engine 34/Ladder 21 firehouse in Manhattan, then setting light to it.

The incident, which happened just after 2a.m. on Saturday morning, is thought to have been a Halloween prank. Capece and Izzo surrendered themselves to fire marshals on Sunday, and have been suspended without pay and face charges of arson, reckless endangerment and criminal mischief.
