syncopath says: i suggest reading this quote through a positive perspective pointing to the possible Human that as part of being-alive dares asking himself again & again the very simple basic questions: Who Why & What am i .. ?? .. How ironic, I am in the middle of writing a paper for my philosophy class about the question "who am I" good Q .. )) glad 2hear it holds some immediate relevance ... possible 2try approach an answer by playing & changing "who" with "what" thus: what am i ? or what am i made of ?? .. I didn't even know that quote, yet it is one I live by every day. There are two ways to slide easily through life; to believe everything or to doubt everything. Both ways save us from thinking.
"When in doubt, observe and ask questions. When certain, observe at length and ask many more questions." -- George S. Patton (1885 - 1945) |
