But industry representatives shouldn't be given government positions from which to make their case. …" Why do their clients deserve to be heard more than typical Americans deserve to be heard by the people they elected? The groups the lobbyists represent are not voting citizens, so I'd argue that no, they don't deserve to be heard. |
