. “The Arlington County Web site specified that [b[swine and poultry were not allowed[/b], so we thought we would have no problem with goats.”So, how did he lose? Revised creationism? Goats become swine? Hens? The neighbors of some friends of mine have a pair of goats which I think might be pygmy or dwarfs or something other than a full size (All Options! Leather Seats and Dual-Tone Bray Included!) goat in a very large pen next to my friend's long driveway. They are the cutest things to watch run around, sometimes high-kicking their rear flanks, and even playing King of the Mountain on a little bump of earth about 2' taller than the surrounding ground. I suppose they drop their business all over, yes, and their might even be a smell of nature attached to them, but they are a real treat to see every time I visit. I stop the car and talk to them when they're near the fence. They listen and look dumb... Yes they most certainly are cute amusing mischievous little buggers. Many years ago I had quite a herd of these resourceful critters. Much as love them I've never quite got used to their rectangular irises. Now we have settled for a Vietnamese pot bellied pig. Dudley, although very bright, does not get into near as much creative mischief as the goats did. Oh did I mention the chickens. And these are just the peeps that do not live in the house .... well at least not very often! |
