Apple has a way of confounding the experts. ^^ lol -Eagle How true! Confound yourself and you'll have something to write about. When 50 million people have iPhones they can write the piece: "Whatever happened to Smartphones?" Experts are often too myopic about buzzwords — think of Web 2.0 too. Must be limiting to be so involved with a field but not being able to more openmindedly look at new approaches that enter it. My concern about the iPhone is with the finger pointer thing. Seems to me, that unlike the blackberry's thumb wheel that lets you hold and control the device with one hand, Apple's new phone will require you to hold it with one hand and manipulate it with the other...this is a big deal for people using the phone while on the go. I agree about the two hand thing. I had a Treo for about a week, but quickly went back to my Blackberry. I do think the iPhone looks cool though. |
