Interesting. That would seem to suggest that it's not possible for bacteria to become resistant to bleach. Wouldn't that be good news in this age of MRSA? In the article, they say that bacteria can even build a tolerance to bleach. Wild, huh? Hi DM, I noticed your new avatar and was very touched to hear about this lovely baby's dad. I wish I had a magic wand for this little guy. Thanks for the good wishes for my favorite baby, carriers. I get to see the little sweetie in just a couple days. His dad gets leave for Christmas. Bleach is one of the substances used in the hospital to clean up blood spills because it kills HIV on contact. So it's not just bactericidal, but a good antiviral also. Sometimes the old stuff works the best. |
