aspirin is an NSAID and should be avoided as above. If you take an aspirin once a day for heart reasons, do not stop this and continue that regime; the small amount used for heart is ok.…

You want to stop the NSAID 24 hours before a 10k or more as it blocks blood flow to the kidney and sets up "marathon kidney" (even tho it may be a 10K) and a risk for hyponatremia.
