I think that's a great answer because it's not overcomplicated or too simplex. I had something bookmarked about the size of an atom that is kind of interesting: An individual atom has a diameter of 10-8 (that's 10 to the -8 power) cm. This means that if the hydrogen atom was the size of a soccer ball, then a soccer ball would be 6450 kilometers (4008 miles) high. Thanks, Nature is marvelous indeed. I clipped this for a friend who is a chemist. He's also a poet and writes about life, using physics and other scientific data to discuss ideals. He used to tell me about the force that keeps sub atomic particles from colliding and how he believes we exist because of that. there used to be a guy in school who for about a year kept on sayin 'don't breath you'll kill some molecules' there was another guy who walked up to one of the cleaners and said to her 'your made of atoms' "There are more atoms in a glass of water than there are glasses of water in all the oceans on Earth" - from the associated BBC TV programme (next episode on 9th August) The distances between atoms if scaled are similar to the distances between stars that's to do with sacred geometry I guess Nah, people in Hollywood like their privacy cool clip, as always haraya! there was another guy who walked up to one of the cleaners and said to her 'your made of atoms'tidbit2 Was the guy trying to get a date with the girl cleaner? Cuz that kind of talk is sure to strike up some romance in the room. of course everything is made of atoms - including us who else knows better how does it feel to exist 4 mere fractions of a second & to constantly lean upon the force that keeps all the particles that are "us" from colliding .... !! |
