egoldstein says: just did it with my twitter pic. Anything to show that i care and am paying attention. I turned mine green, too, but the old fashioned way. For two reasons - one, I can easily change it back later, and two, the automated way requires 3rd party access to my Twitter account, which, well... not something I'm very keen on... @Walski69 on Twitter If you don't want to install the app you can do it yourself at http://www.avatint.com/ . I'm about to freakin' pop a vessel over all these pleas to change my pic to green. This has to be the DAMN stupidest thing I have ever seen. Geez, it seems like 1 out every five tweets about Iran is a tweet to make my pic green.. ENOUGH ALL FREAKIN" READY. I'm not making my twitter pic green. I don't have a twitter account (which is the stupidest idea for a website I've ever seen) and wouldn't dream of ever having one, so I tried tinting my CM avatar instead, but the http://www.avatint.com/ . link just keeps saying loading... loading...loading. It's the thought that counts I guess and I thunk it. That's that, I reckon. I don't have a twitter account (which is the stupidest idea for a website I've ever seen)Actually, that probably explains more about you than you probably know. While I don't go as far as egoldstein on the idea and promise of twitter, it is beyond revolutionary. Oh, and by the way... It's the thought that counts I guess and I thunk it.To the Left, it is the appearance that counts, which is why this whole concept is narcisstic, pointless, and as we see at twitter, it is now getting in the way of the actual story. If there is a downside to twitter, this crap is it. Revolutionary?? Pffft. Heart transplants were revolutionary. Space exploration was revolutionary, but Twitter? Hahaha! Gimme a break. But then again, Sticky, what would I know... What are you doing? I'm doing the laundry. Hmm... maybe you're right. VIVA LA REVOLUTION!!! StickyOops. Freudian slip. I apologize. I of course meant, willy. Now toddle off and do a clip about how unimpressed and ignorant I am about Twitter, hmm?. Off you go. Well, I'll cut you some slack on it. I was unimpressed in the beginning too, until I realized the size, scope, reach, and nfluence of twitter, and the detail, personalization, breadth, and communion of the world's citizens. There has never been anything like this. We had some technical difficulties yesterday for some users uploading images. It should be fine now! Are you responsible for this??? Man are you a piece of work. This kind of crap is absolutely pointless. |
