I turned mine green, too, but the old fashioned way. For two reasons - one, I can easily change it back later, and two, the automated way requires 3rd party access to my Twitter account, which, well... not something I'm very keen on...

I don't have a twitter account (which is the stupidest idea for a website I've ever seen) and wouldn't dream of ever having one, so I tried tinting my CM avatar instead, but the http://www.avatint.com/ . link just keeps saying loading... loading...loading.

Actually, that probably explains more about you than you probably know. While I don't go as far as egoldstein on the idea and promise of twitter, it is beyond revolutionary.

To the Left, it is the appearance that counts, which is why this whole concept is narcisstic, pointless, and as we see at twitter, it is now getting in the way of the actual story. If there is a downside to twitter, this crap is it.

Revolutionary?? Pffft. Heart transplants were revolutionary. Space exploration was revolutionary, but Twitter? Hahaha! Gimme a break.

Well, I'll cut you some slack on it. I was unimpressed in the beginning too, until I realized the size, scope, reach, and nfluence of twitter, and the detail, personalization, breadth, and communion of the world's citizens. There has never been anything like this.

We had some technical difficulties yesterday for some users uploading images. It should be fine now!
