Take a bath or shower. Both activities loosen you up, making your mind more receptive to recognizing brilliant ideas.

This one is very interesting. There is no question that more ideas for clipmarks come to me when i'm in the shower than anywhere else. Typically, when i get out of the shower i go right to my laptop and make some notes for myself in a word doc.
