This is another one of the Alice in Wonderland stories....the Colombian military and government are funded by the USA, a big part of the Great Drug Wars, covert military actions for decades going on.

The real story now is U.S. troops going to Colombian bases...up to now it's been CIA and covert actions.

One thing, it would be nice to honor the U.S. Constitution and "declare wars," rather than just slip and slid into them as we have been doing since WWII.

Now we're in a era of endless lifetimes of global war...without the proper authorization required by the Constitution...thus, illegal, this, wrong.

We infect Central and South America. We're in Africa. Killing Iraq and targeting Iran. Pressuring Russia on it's borders

Like most imperialist the government and military has a long list of reasons...but if their reasons were honest then the proper procedures for declaring war would be honest too.
