Randall Thompson and wife, Joy, both worked at TMI and investigated the meltdown. During the investigation, their lives were threatened and they left Pennsylvania for New Mexico. They were in process of writing a book on the meltdown and coverup with Joy's brother, Charles (a nuclear Navy vet).
