But that's my problem. Too often twisted Christianity - in reality non-Christian entirely - impinges hugely into politics in the USA. Under Bush, separation of church and state has been a joke. Looking at the present lot of presidential hopefuls, these will not change much. We Irish were church ridden, and not that very long ago, so I know. Many an Irish politician lost out to the figurative belt of a crozier. Our progress forward from this is only matched by your disimprovement. Karl Marx 'religion is the opium of the people' is certainly true in America. Mo... The only time I have ever been on the news was coming out of a coal mines, under oxygen, caring the dead and injured; but there was a strong feeling of another being watching over me, comforting.
