I don't believe that the threat of Islamist extremism is overstated. I also don't believe we have done anything but increase it. Further, I don't believe that you can fight a war of bullets against it, unless you embark upon a genocidal war.

How is it a genocidal war? The vast majority of Islamics are not extremists. I don't feel that we have increased the threat...it was already there and growing...we have to stand our ground. And another question...what do you believe would work? There is so much negative rhetoric. And I feel that complaining and negativity do nothing to help...unless you have an alternative solution. And in this case a long term solution.

What I hear from it is that not enough troops have died to satisfy your wanton need of destruction.
