Students Say 'Thank You' to Firefighters. On Sept. 6, students in Jackson Elementary kindergarten and third-grade class created a thank-you sign to show their appreciation for the hard work of all involved in fighting the blaze. They displayed the sign near the Dunne Hill Fire Station, a stopping point for firefighters before moving on to the base camp at Christmas Hill Park in Gilroy.
