I found it interesting that the teacher's union is defensive and opposes the closings, while the Dept of Education states that their research showed that dysfunctional parenting is contributing to the children's unmanageable behavior and poor performance in school. This sounds so very familiar to me, based on what I know of the educational system in the USA. |
