You are never gonna stop ppl from having sex. But you can educate them on the usage of condoms if they are going to have sex. Putting your head in the sand and pretending that "morality" is going to stop these problems is just ridiculous. If anything, this should show that abstinence only teaching has made this problem worse.

Teen-age girls have to understand that contrary to what they might think oral sex is sex. They can get STD's in their mouth and it isn't pretty. They have to quit trusting guys when they say you can't get an STD the first time. No, I am not speaking from experience.

The president of the Planned Parenthood Federation of America, Cecile Richards, said the new findings “emphasize the need for real comprehensive sex education.”

“The national policy of promoting abstinence-only programs is a $1.5 billion failure,” Ms. Richards said, “and teenage girls are paying the real price.”
This is disgraceful....

Oh sure....don't tell anyone to not have sex before they are married and in a *committed* relationship!!

You can have all the sex you want. Just accept the responsibilities that go along with it. Hello! It's really not that hard.

Sex education is what you do for *babies* within our society...hoping they will get the message and not have babies that will be a drain on themselves and the rest of us!
