How in the world can this guy explain design? Is evolution so smart that it can design the human body with all of it's complex interdependent systems? That happen by chance or mutations? That takes real faith to believe.
I also like his statement,"What happened next is almost too wonderful to bear." Who or what is he praising, mother nature?

Here are some alternative sites that contradict this clip.

Jay8, it doesn't take faith, it takes education. You're constantly asking people to read the Bible to "understand", so I would like to ask you to read the book "Molecular Biology of the Cell" by Bruce Alberts, Dennis Bray, Julian Lewis, Martin Raff, Keith Roberts and James D. Watson. It deals with the evolution of life from molecules to the first primitive cells, from procaryotes to eucaryotes, from single celled organisms to multicelled organisms and so on an...

Jay,

As well as the excellent suggestion from TN, why not read the book that this clip reviews ("The Greatest Show on Earth) - I'm sure you'll find the answers to your questions there e.g. the process of natural selection over many millions of years (not chance) is responsible for the appearance of design in the natural world.

The sites I listed are not Biblically related but are of science .

Has anyone discovered the "smart" particle that was used in "natural selection" that developed all of the organisms in nature to be able to survive and procreate? Do you realize the odds of that happening by natural selection or chance? Did these smart selections, all in and by itself, design flight, optics for sight, necessary organ chemistry, brain functions, and the myriad of other factors required to develop and sustain life?

I would find it more believable if you said a alien came down to earth and designed it all. At least we would have the source of this obvious intelligent design. But, then you would have to explain, who made the alien.

You obviously have no idea of what natural selection means, or how this process taking place over millions of years can apear to result in organisms that may seem to you to have been designed for their particular environments etc. Can I suggest that you try to learn a little bit about evolution, natural selection etc before you argue against it. Because as it is you just come across as an ignorant fool.

After studying biological anthropology, you must understand that the human is not so complex that only a "creator" could have done it. The body is full of systems that can be studied, broken down, and understood. There are commonalities among EVERY species including our own. It is not impossibly complex. We know how it happened.

Ok, you guys win. Your ancestors are from monkeys. Mine are from the image of God. No wonder we don't agree on this subject.
