Thanks ab, i actually think that dispelling the enormous amount of ignorance concerning the whole issue of drugs in general and their influence on the human brain is of paramount importance if we are to evolve into a more benign society and civilization.

The brain is the mystery region in most ways. We know a little, but haven't advanced too far from Freud. Drugs are prescribed as sedatives and the brain tells the person that nicotine is not wanted. The use of some of the neuro drugs has had side effects of magnitude and the prescribed use of neuro drugs has also had fatal effects - strokes, heart attacks, Doctors have to decide if the possible cure is worth the risk. As good as our system is, some are not tested fully for possible reactions to prescribed drugs.
