Found the video first and remembered the book of poetry I had many years ago. I have a natural fascination for the sufi dancers. Children dance like this all the time and whilst mainstream Islam may not have a great name the Sufis have always felt "wondrous" to me.

And if you have ever tried dancing like this - I totally understand why they do it!!! It's BLISS creating on a "feeling level".

the last bit of the clip is the best.... once his/her skirts lift floating upwards the video gets surreal - utterly beautiful!!!
