Apricot seeds contain a cyanide compound. If not heated properly you could get sick.

He also said he and his entire congregtion were praying ("for victory in the situation") are sure it wasn't the prayer that cured the cancer?

to bignosemousie - seriously, you had beter be careful. I mean, seeds and b17 are only 20 times less toxic than sugar. Chemotherapy must be the more holistic way to go. And do NOT heat the seeds, it takes away essential enzymes.

Not to minimize the power of prayer, but since the man in the story has stopped taking the seeds, his symptoms have come back and according to one of your earlier posts - he's not well and refusing traditional treatment in prison.

CA -- I think your posts intriguing and always find any information on natural remedies quite interesting. Are you marketing these products?

The testimonials only go until 2003 -- are there some more recent examples of the effectiveness of these seeds? Are there any clinical studies on B-17? I ask all this because I know some people with cancer who might benefit from this information.

When you say...
Chemotherapy must be the more holistic way to go. ...

Cancer Answer, I simply wanted to point out that the seeds contain toxins, since the original clip and source do not mention that. The source site is currently down so I cannot double check to make sure it's not mentioned, but when I looked originally I remember it not being there.

My information comes from the source to which I linked. I am not disputing that sugar can also be toxic, but just because sugar is more toxic doesn't negate that these seeds do contain toxins and I thought it prudent to point that out to readers.
