I agree completely with this in more ways than I can say.
But how,no really,how,can we get together and end this once and for all when it's too much trouble to even pop this clip?

soup kitchens are drawing former rough sleepers out of hostels and back onto the streets.

Is councillor Harvey really expecting us to believe that people who are housed and in some cases in work are going to give that up to become homeless so they can get free food from a soup kitchen,

As she is responsible for housing it would clearly be to her advantage to try and portray the homeles as not homeless at all, but just people who would take advantage of soup kitchens.

Pity she and the rest of the councillors did not fix the problem rather than just trying to hiding it.

The taxpayers of the country pay a whole lot their hard earned cash for these kinds of people to do just that "fix the problems"

And yes it is simple, get them off the streets and into hostels, where they can eventually with the right kind of treatment and assistance, be rehabilitated back into the community from whence they came.
