This also applies to preserving your own food. We Americans have become so lazy..........and these deadly chemicals have been made so available and convenient, and have also been advertised to us as the end all......for all our problems. We all need to take inventory of our closets, and basements, and garages, and dispose of all these harmful chemicals, in a proper manner, and adopt a new attitude. Pull your weeds by hand....instead of spraying ROUND-UP, get a supply of baking soda, and peroxide, and rubbing alcohol for most of your cleaning needs........ you can do it... It just isn't as convenient and easy as the LAZY WAY! Great post! Vinegar is another natural alternative and has literally hundreds upon hundreds of uses from cleaning and disinfecting to polishing chrome!! Screw the mega-corporations, all they do is import Asian made poison, and food. If I don't buy American and small company than I cannot claim innocense when the bottom drops out on us. At least I see what is coming. My cleaning supplies consist of lemon oil, white vinegar, table salt, baking soda with very rare bleach or ammonia usage. Of course (I just can't make it better or cheaper myself) I use dish soap, laundry soap, shampoo & conditioner. Buy my vinegar for a gallon and a half - less than $3. Baking soda is less than $3 for 10 pounds. Get every thing else the cheapest I can find, except hair & body products. Works great, clean house, nearly no chemicals and tons saved. Adde... |
