Looks like some politicals just never learn. Repeating the same mistakes of the Vietnam era will once again result in less than a regal outcome in Iraq. Taking the political handcuffs off our military men and women and let them do what they do best will result in a WIN. Once the enemy is defeated and law and order is restored then we can talk about who is in charge until then. CHARGE!!

Unfortunately it would appear that the politicos are once again miring our troops in political posturing which will result in our once again LOOSING. But it wold appear loosing is winning to those who sit in Washington DC.

And what would a win look like, I mean that the thing here.

Regime change: done

Elections: Have them

Constitution: Check (sort off)

Then again, Iraq had nothing to do with democracy, terrorism, al-Qaeda, or freedom and everything to do with EMPIRE!

By WIN the hawks (and Eagles) mean

KILL every last Iraqi that dares deny the might of the US.

Well, there are still approximately 26 million Iraqi's left alive, so we'll need a draft to wipe them all out before the next presidential election. That'll be a victory fer sure.

Actually green that is not what I mean. Nor have I ever espoused that idea. But now that you brought it up I will address the issue of war. To really call this a war is a stretch because the perpuse of going to war is to WIN the war. And to win you MUST defeat the enemy. That means whatever it takes to defeat them you do.

Had it been our purpose to set up an American Colony in Iraq it would have been done by now. We have the weaponry to have erased Iraq from the map and turned it into a big landfill. However ; we have not done that nor are t...

The war against saddam has been over for a while. Now, it's time to continue to support the people of Iraq in establishing a country run by them for themselves. The terrorists and insurgents would love for us to pull out now and leave them to fend for themselves, but we have decided to be there until the job is done and people can get back to an ordinary life without so much violence.

The war on terror will continue long after we leave Iraq.
