I find that more and more our society is becoming celebrity and wealth oriented. Just look at the way news is covered these days. While our men and women in uniform are dying and being maimed in Iraq, along with the hundreds of thousands of Iraqi citizens being killed; while poor people in the U.S. are trying to live without health insurance of any kind etc, etc, etc, what do we get? 24 hour coverage of Anna Nicole Smith's death and funeral. The custody battle for her baby. New about Brittany shaving her head and other such bull shit stories. I don't know when our priorities have become so skewed, but knowledge and insight does not really seem to matter to the majority of our society. E...
