ColoradoRight says: This is just another case of an anti-war blogger pretending they're for "the troops" because they want them removed from war zones. That is quite a reach since the guy had never even been overseas. Even non-muslim troop morale is down, because they are in conflict about why they are fighting people who have never attacked America. The psychological turmoil is real, which has been testified by the military themselves. How much more those who are sent who identify with that religion and ethnic group? Any thinking conservative can see this (if he is not just a "ditto head"), if he would sympathize with soldiers from their point of view instead of from an overstuffed armchair. Morale is down because there is no leadership and no defined goal in Afghanistan. You need to be in it to win or get out. I think getting out would be bad as we would likely end up having to return down the road anyway, but not fighting it to win leads us down the road to Viet Nam part two. Obama needs to learn to lead and stop with the campaigning already, it isn't helping the troops or the country. That being said, why were those who were with him (in the military) not more diligent and booted him out? Even from what I've read (I'm sure there is more) he was not a fellow comrade-in-arms. His words and actions spoke volumes. Napolean-itano gloats: "see, military can be domestic terrorists" |
