Our country is a country where freedom to worship is paramount. I am not threatened by other beliefs or forms of religion, unless I am told to believe their way or lose my head. I would loss my head !!! I have been set free from fear. Who the Son sets free is free indeed.

They are trying to condemn people they don't even know,
and devalue their conscience, their opinion and their belief. Their attitude is tarnished with bitterness. They call themselves Christian, but there is no truth in them.

Note that the original source, quoted from the clipped page, was World Net Daily. WND is an okay site if you're so far to the right you won't use your left hand to type when you post comments on their pages.

Note that the display was in honor of the Dalai Lama, whose religion is inseparable from his person. Had the Pope Benedict been visiting town, I'm sure the display would have been appropriate to him. The people trying to put up their own display were intruders.

Absolutely brilliant! I agree totally with your comment. Is it any wonder this man is so revered around the world. (Well, maybe not the entire world).

You're absolutely right seaj11. I often refer to them as the "World Nut Daily". They're a rich source of Wingnut Ideology. Luckily, they are not indicative of more rational conservatives.

Here's a portion of that clip:
The Creator put on this Earth many different
religions which represent different roads to
walk to God. All religions are right and good
if the path is the path to God. Should we be
judging which road is better or worse than the
other? When we accept each other's way we
can stand in a circle, hold hands and listen to
each other as we pray to God. Let us be more
accepting of the religions of others.
What a nice picture but naive to the point of absurdity. I've encountered too many people who are more intent on defending their particular religious sect than in establishing any s...
