First, trying to agree on what to work on is usually our biggest challenge and most difficult step. We throw a million ideas out there (many of them come from or are inspired by you) and then we try to figure out a path that will lead to the greatest improvement in the experience for everyone within a reasonable period of time. Of course, the action items on the development map then need to be designed and developed. This too is full of many highs and lows, because one day you think you're on to something great, then you go home, get some sleep, come back the next day and decide that it's totally flawed and needs to be reworked.

The one thing i am most proud of is that we never compromise quality for the sake of ease or saving time. Obviously that doesn't mean the quality is always great or that we always get it right...far from it. But we have always remained patient and persistent in trying to do things as best as we can. I think there are 3 primary motivating factors for us: 1) pride, 2) fear of disappointing you all, 3) excitement about a better experience - hey, we're hooked on it too!

The hardest part is then pulling the trigger on going live. You think you've got everything in order (though you know that's not really possible). You think you've done some really good work, but then you start to wonder/doubt. And so you kind of stop thinking and judging and just roll it out there, hoping that you all will be happy with it.

Basically, what i'm trying to say is that getting the kind of response that you have been kind enough to give means the world to us...THANK YOU!!!

One thing that I'm finding very hard to do is figure out how to talk
about Clipmarks and its use. I'm SOOO used to sites having forums where
you can discuss the site. Clipmarks doesn't seem to have that. Rather,
you seem to discuss the site inline with actual Clipmarks. While I find
it nice that you can discuss the site in the same interface you discuss
clippings, I find it a little difficult to start a discussion without
an actual clipping.

Would it be possible for you to put a forum
in place for discussing your site? That way we can keep conversations
about feature requests and the like external to our clippings?

Even more important to me than that though is can someone tell me
the benefit of posting a clipmark to delicious? If I've already clipped
something, what good does it do me to post to delicious? Or is it more
for the benefit of sharing the bookmark with other folks?

BTW - One other feature I'd like to see is being able to paste
images directly into either a clipping or into the remarks box for the
clipping. Just something I think would be really cool. In that way, the application would become just a little more similar to Microsoft's OneNote. I can see myself taking screenshots of my local desktop and pasting it into a webclipping that i'm working on. I'd love to discuss these requests more. What's the best avenue for doing that?

I post my ClipMarks to del.icio.us as a repository of my clippings. Since I want to eventually organise my ClipMarks and bookmarks this helps me.

At present its possible to copy a screenshot and open it in paint then upload it to an image hose and then clip it. It just seems like a long drawn out process to me.

As for starting a new discussion take a look at the ClipMarks logo- Clip that and then title the clip however you want. NO PORN IN CLIPMARKS is a great example.
