Is this for real???

I'm horrified by 2 things:
1 - an 11 year old with a .50 caliber
2 - supposing this image isn't fake (it looks fake) the poor thing should have been left alone.. it's huge.. why kill it??? ugh...

I believe the size itself is still unconfirmed. The current theory is that the picture has been taken at an angle in which the pig/boy ratio looks exaggerated.

Here's another story. Apparently the head is being mounted by a taxidermist, and the whole hog was weighed in. Should be able to confirm through the skeleton.

A boy that age with a pistol in rural Alabama isn't uncommon. He shot it because he was hunting and they wanted the meat. Nothing unusual about that.
