Aren't we a tad overdue for a beer clip? Anyway! Everyone should have a beer and help save the world, I reckon. If we all stand (and sway) together, the results could be nothing less than *staggering*!!

(This clip just has CBGC written ALL over it. Cheers, fellow followers of the faith! .)

(PS) Thanks to BartendingBear for the tip off about this site. Taaa buddy!

Hmmm.. noticed it too. I've been away for a few days so I'm very 'pop-ready' for beer clips. Can we have another beer here please..

Never say never debbyski! I can root out the carbon dioxide signature of a good beer any day and I can hone in on it faster than you can say CHEERS!

On ice, you say? .

Do I have to do all the work around here betong? Are you too busy doing the ceremonies to keep up with the paperwork? We need to hold a board meeting about this.

(Let's all meet up at the pub later. .)

Naturally, I have several local brews to recommend in the spirit of a clip from The Shepherd-Express, my hometown alternative press choice.

First, from New Glarus Brewing Company...

Spotted Cow
: Cask conditioned ale has been a popular choice among brews since long before prohibition. New Glarus continues this spirit with a Wisconsin farmhouse ale. Brewed with flaked barley and the finest Wisconsin malts and a nod to our farmers with a little hint of corn.

Naturally cloudy, as the yeast remains in the bottle to
enhance fullness of flavor, which can not be duplicated otherwise.

Fun, fruity and satis...

Oops!

Imperial Stout: Once brewed in Britain for the Russian Czars, this tremendously rich and thick ale uses a profusion of burnt and caramel malts. A massive mouthful of dark roasted malt and coffee flavors finishes with hints of chocolate, caramel & licorice.

Now, on to the Lakefront Brewery, started just after Sprecher in 1987...

Cream City Pale Ale: Named after the pale yellow Cream City bricks which are only found in Milwaukee, the ale is a top fermenting amber-colored ale is brewed using generous amounts of malt and kettle hops. The trademark of this ale is its beautiful hop bouquet and taste that comes from a liberal dry ho...

Wow! My eyes glazed over while reading all those beautiful names and descriptions of beer. Mouth watering! How can anyone not love beer?? Beer's just such a wonderful thing! After a long hard day, what beats climbing into a hammock on a hot sunny day, with a cat in your lap and an icecold beer in your hand? Nothing! It's paradise!

I am a bit worried about the social "art" of beer drinking though. Through my travels, I have noticed, that more and more of the old "traditional" pubs, tavernas and bodegas are disappearing and being replaced with cafés, pizzarias and the likes. It's a dying tradition! (esp in a lot of European countries) To me the ol' watering hole is a vital place for social i...

As for bartenders? They are like priests! It's the most honourable of all professions. They serve up the Holy Brew, restoreth my soul and they even take confessions. Some of my best friends are bartenders! (Of course. *LOL*) So don't worry about the tips BBear, bartenders are of course on the top of my list. You're practically an endangered species many places, so of course I will do all I can to "save" you! Civilisation just wouldn't be the same if you guys weren't around. *LOL* Cheers mate!

(Of course BBear can join debbyski, if he wants to. Wanna be the "Pope" of CBGC, BBear? We could all benefit from your *spiritual* guidance, I reckon! . )

I agree. Everything should be in moderation.

While it's true that the cognitive impairment caused by drinking is temporary, our body gradually takes toll specially when abused. We wouldn't want to bear the wrath of the beer gods, do we?

Now would you please open my next bottle please..
