A neat little way to see who sent you what e-mail. This could be useful for figuring out who is selling your email address to spamers

Just tried this for clipmarks but did not work. It asks me for a proper email address, do you think they read this already and changed their system?

I'm sure it's due to some sites checking for a valid e-mail address in terms of syntax. Anyone who does would kick out an error due to the plus sign. This approach will only work for sites that don't check the syntax validity of e-mail addresses.

Good trick but it's not difficult to leave off the + part of the address, so whomever you send that address to also has your real gmail address. I like to use http://spambox.us to create disposible addresses -- good for an hour, then poof!

But spambots, to my understanding, wouldn't do that. And I think that they're the source of most of our spam, no?
