In my mother-in-law and brother-in-law, the TIAs began after their strokes. In their cases and the case of my mother, there was no warning with TIAs before their strokes. But then, I notice that it says 'hundreds'. Considering the number of strokes that occur, that's pretty low.

All I can say to any of you, if you have high blood pressure or artery disease, do what you need to do to get them under control. The results of strokes are horrible. A person rarely dies from the first one but their effects are major and long-term.
